This is a Career Service Facilities Services Analyst position working in the Lee County Health Department.

 

The Facilities Services Analyst position is responsible for coordinating and performing preventive maintenance tasks and repair requests for facilities leased by the Department of Health in Lee County. This position is under the direct supervision of the Administrative Service Director II - SES.

 

Facilities

 

  • Schedules and coordinates facility maintenance, repair, and cleaning services.
  • Performs minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinates efforts involving capital improvement projects and changes in space utilization.
  • Develops and maintains recycling programs.
  • Assists in the development of facility related policies and procedures.
  • Manages access to DOH-Lee buildings by means of the distribution of physical keys and proximity card programming.

 

Security and Safety

  • Coordinates efforts with the DOH-Lee Safety Coordinator to ensure a safe environment for staff and clients. Liaises with vendors to maintain fire and security systems. 

 

Supply Inventory

  • Maintains supply inventory, including, but not limited to, janitorial, consumable, and maintenance supplies.

 

Preparedness

  • Collaborates with preparedness staff and program managers to develop and maintain the all-hazards emergency operations plan and continuity of operations plan (COOP).

 

Purchasing

  • Responsible for obtaining quotes from vendors pursuant to Florida statue and agency policy. Pays for commodities and services by means of a state-issued purchasing card.

 

This is an on-call position and is responsible for responding to issues requiring attention outside of normal business hours.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures related to facilities management.
  • Skilled in collecting, interpreting and analyzing data.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities.
  • Ability to collect and analyze statistical data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to process information logically and solve problems.
  • Ability to prioritize individual workload.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors with various temperature changes.
