Job Description Summary
The Research Specialist will support ongoing biomedical research by performing a range of laboratory techniques focused on technical analysis. The role involves culturing bacterial, primary, and eukaryotic cells for assays and storage, alongside executing molecular biology techniques such as PCR and Western blotting. Additionally, the Research Specialist will maintain detailed laboratory records, manage inventory, prepare reagents, and assist with the organization of laboratory supplies and storage. The position also requires occasional support with administrative tasks, including updating research protocols and regulatory documents, to ensure efficient laboratory operations under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI).Entity

Job Description
30%: Performing Ex-vivo tissue and In vitro cell culture immuno-staining and confocal imaging/analysis; MicroCT analysis of Ex-vivo hard tissues.
30%: Performing Bacterial and primary /eukaryotic cell culture for assays and storage/freezing; performing PCR, Western blot analysis.
25%: Prepares laboratory records, reports and maintains laboratory supplies. -Orders and places laboratory supplies and making buffers, help organizing freezers and refrigerators.
15%: Upon request, performs other tasks requested by the PI to maintain a smooth operation of laboratory including helping with updating or preparation of some research or regulatory protocol forms and documents.

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and two years work experience in a clinical or research setting; a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or other natural, life or health care science may be substituted for the two years of required experience.
