Senior Technical Business System Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technical Business Consultant. Authorization and Posting product in Consumer Technology (CT) is seeking a senior technical business consultant to be part of the Core Banking Transaction Processing product area.  This position will be part of the scrum team focusing on API development and build highly scalable, resilient microservices/business services applications. The ideal candidate will partner with business/technical product managers, systems architects, and engineers to develop critical solutions.  In addition, this position will play a key role in managing/supporting all technology risk remediation/management tasks and focus on transformation activities including tech modernization, cloud migration, and test automation.  Candidate will also be responsible to ensure technology solutions implemented adheres to enterprise policies and standards including documentation of items such as Security Plans, Service Level Agreements, and general system documentation.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems

• Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements

• Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems

• Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions

• Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes

• Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables

• Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams Ability to stich data together

• Ability to do initial analysis and then be able to work with the various teams to move the issue from discovery to completed

• Experience performing Business Analysis, defining Requirements (writing epics and user stories), agile development (acted as a product manager or product owner), Testing (SIT and UAT), production rollout support (planning and deployment validation), Change enablement.

• Ability to take PowerPoint slides and create working visual solutions in our UI apps(Microsoft Canvas & Microsoft Model Driven apps)

• JIRA, Confluence skills

• Ability to write stories but most importantly someone who can enhance stories based on conversation with India tech teams work with tech teams on story completion

• Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards

• Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data

• Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed

• Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews

• Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported

• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

• Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors

• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements

• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 3+ years of API/SOA service-oriented Architecture, API Integration, Web Services
