As we are growing fast, we’re looking for a Financial Administrator for 24 hours per week to expand our Finance team. Someone who loves the admin side of Finance, works accurately and structured with excellent attention to details, thrives on taking a lot of responsibility, and is intrinsically motivated and goal-oriented. What does the role look like?
In this role, you’ll have an important role within a fast-growing company where more and more numbers are going through the books. Together with your colleagues of the Finance Team, you’ll be the main point of contact for the operation when it comes to accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
As a Financial Administrator, you’ll be co-responsible for the recording of all financial transactions of Goboony, as well as processing invoices and payroll. You do this by collecting, organizing and processing financial and administrative information whilst aiming to maintain correct and up-to-date records. In addition, you will also pick up smaller projects.
To ensure success as a Financial Administrator, you should have the ability to complete various complex financial tasks accurately and efficiently. You don’t let go until you have found the best solution! In addition, you always want to know exactly how things are done and you come up with new ideas to improve our ways of working.
Your key responsibilities on a daily basis:
Ensuring that all open purchase invoices are processed.
Checking the general ledger accounts and supporting the period closure.
Checking the insurance bookings.
Supporting the processing of the foreign payroll.
Keeping close contact with our (outsourced) accountant.
Answering questions from the operations regarding invoices and payments.

Requirements
Now let’s talk about you
You have at least +2 years of demonstrable experience as a Financial Officer or in a similar role in Finance.
You’re available for 24 hours per week.
You have affinity with numbers, and you can make sense of the figures and efficiently communicate it to the Financial and Operations team. You’re an excellent interpersonal communicator!
You feel comfortable with new accounting systems and softwares (we’re using Exact and Tableau).
You possess a ‘can do’ mentality and are able to work independently.
You have outstanding organizational skills and you work with accuracy.
You have a strong sense of responsibility with a high level of reliability as you handle confidential information.
You master both the Dutch and English language (written and spoken).
