SRM Consultant (Supply Chain Data Analyst) 

Horizon Industries Limited (HIL) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area. We are currently seeking a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Consultant for a full-time position supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) at Fort Belvoir, VA. 

Job Description: 
 
This Task Order supports the Defense Logistics Agency J7-Acquisition community with analytical and other data research support.   
 
Duties of a SRM Consultant may include: 

  • Performing ad-hoc data pulls utilizing the client’s existing systems (e.g., DORRAADW, EBS, DLA Enterprise Data Warehouse) 
  • Providing subject matter expertise for data requests from client's organizations, DoD entities, and other federal organizations. 
  • Preparing routine and ad-hoc reports based upon data provided from various client sources. 
  • Maintaining clients’ operational documentation and databases stats to provide current reports. 
  • Researching and developing Fact Sheets as needed relating to the SRM program. 
  • Calculating, analyzing, and reporting on different SRM programs' performances, metrics and statistics to provide J7 clients with needed documentation for presentations to senior DLA and DOD leadership. 
  • Participating and taking notes in regular meetings and status reviews. 
  • Planning and providing support at conference events and meetings. 
  • Developing reports and briefings to senior client executives. 

Required Skills / Experience: 

  • 2 year or more experience related to Supply Chain, acquisition, procurement, or logistics and experience extracting data, organizing, analyzing, and preparing summaries of analyses. 
  • Must have customer-facing experience working at a Headquarters level. 
  • Must have proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL). Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex queries.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Must be able to effectively use all Microsoft Suite programs (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel). 
  • Must be a motivated self-starter. 
  • Must be able to multi-task. 
  • Must have strong organization skills 

Sensitivity Level: National Agency Check (NAC) or above.  

Strongly Desired: 

    • Experience with SAM.gov 
    • Experience using MS Access
    • Experience doing Ad Hoc Data pulls 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant management or acquisition field 

Location: Currently Remote, but could turn into a hybrid schedule if the DLA implements RTO requirements, which would require travel to Fort Belvoir, VA (2-3 days a week) 
 
Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
