Position Description:

The University of Louisville is seeking an Associate Director of Student Admissions. The Associate Director of Student Admissions for Visits and Events plays a key leadership role in the design, coordination, and execution of high-impact on-campus visit experiences for prospective high school students and their families. This position oversees all recruitment-related visit programs, including individual and group tours, and is responsible for ensuring a welcoming, informative, and personalized campus experience. This position presents the University to prospective students and families, meets one-on-one with campus visitors, and provides expert guidance on admissions, scholarships, financial aid, housing, and academic offerings. In collaboration with the communications team, this role develops targeted marketing strategies and partners with academic departments and student groups to deliver customized visit opportunities for high-achieving and special interest student populations. This role supervises full-time staff and assists in the training and oversight of student volunteers and paraprofessional staff. Additional responsibilities include serving on the Counselor on Call rotation, reviewing admissions and scholarship applications as needed, maintaining accurate visit data, assessing program effectiveness, and producing regular reports. The ideal candidate demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
