Position Summary
Aetna is hiring a Manager, Business Consultation to support the growth of our Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) business. The position will report into the PEO unit’s Business Consultation team who focuses on Strategic Data, Analytics & Technology. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role, supporting the design and execution of segment-wide, cross-functional business strategies and solutions enabling the Aetna PEO franchise to continue being competitive in the marketplace.

The Manager, Business Consultation will support Aetna PEO’s Business Consultation & Account Field teams (with regular, direct PEO customer interaction) with:

• Researching, resolving, and solutioning complex customer issues
• Managing internal & external business analytics needs including Dashboards automation
• Helping Aetna Account teams & PEOs synthesize information for easy understanding
• Communicating effectively through frequent presentation development and reporting exhibit creation
• Driving process improvement opportunities with ownership in ad-hoc projects (technology & non-technology alike)

Success entails the Manager, Business Consultation establishing holistic relationships with internal partners across Underwriting, Actuarial, Informatics, Legal Compliance & Privacy, Aetna Information Systems (“AIS”), Service Operations, and many other areas effectively maximizing the value of CVS Health’s and Aetna’s products and services.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Manager, Business Consultation role will have the following traits:

• 2-3 years of increasing experience in a high impact environment
• Superb interpersonal skills with demonstrated customer service success
• Strong employer group benefits acumen
• Ability to manage diverse, complex projects simultaneously
• Intermediate skills using technology tools such as Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint (with meeting facilitation and presentation development prowess)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Professional Employer Organization ("PEO") industry
• Prior experience representing business with technology & software development in partnership with IT
• Data querying, database navigation, and SQL knowledge
• Exposure toward and desire to learn business strategy planning & execution

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $136,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
