Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital’s Gynecology & Women's Health is nationally recognized and provides comprehensive gynecologic care. From common to complex gynecologic conditions, the department offers evidence-based care to its patients. As an LPN, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.   

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. 

 
A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.  

• Administer medication.  

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in medical records and files.  

• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.   

• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.  

• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals outlined by JCAHO.  

• Follow Code Blue protocol.  

 
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• Graduate of Accredited LPN program 

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license  

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 

• Knowledge of infection control practices  

• Experience with technology 

• Computer literacy  

 
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification  

• One year of clinical experience  

• Previous gynecology experience
