Business Development Representative, MultiPro Property Solutions

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Business Development Representative is a hunter role focused on lead generation, proposal building, selling the MultiPro services at desired margins, client onboarding, CRM management, and one-time sales for an assigned geography. Acting as the client advocate, this role will work with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied by each department to improve the overall client experience. The Business Development Representative will secure new activations and sell new services categories to existing customers to grow the overall revenue of the branch.
Location: Atlanta, GA Metro area
Salary Range: $55,000 - $63,00 base + uncapped commission
Schedule: You are expected to allocate your working hours to a combination of remote work and traveling within your designated territory.
Auto allowance: As part of our auto allowance reimbursement program, you will be eligible to receive a fixed bi-weekly contribution, in addition to monthly variable mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
- Grow revenue in assigned market and geography by both securing new clients via cold calling, cross selling with other Valet Living entities, pursuing referrals, and analyzing available market data, as well as growing share-of-wallet revenue within existing accounts
- Actively engage with clients to evaluate the communities needs for repair and maintenance work
- Foster strong client relationship based on MultiPro’s value propositions, trust and respect
- Collaborate with our internal departments to ensure we are exceeding the customers’ expectations
- Manage and resolve any client issues or complaints
- Identify solutions and improved processes across departments to ensure a positive client relationship
- Develop proposals, prepare project bids, and coordinate the successful handoff of new work to the field service team
- Support the adoption of Annual Price Agreements
- Promote and educate property staff on new service offerings and capabilities for MultiPro and Valet Living
- Work with operations team to ensure agreement on job scope and service protocols in new community launches
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive results and ensure maximum quality of service
- Apply effective problem-solving skills to resolve client complaints or needs
- Represent our organization at industry-related trade shows and exhibits
- Act in accordance with organizational and quality standards
- Organize work and determine resources and requirements
- Drive to communities within the assigned geography, up to 75% of the work week
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required, AA degree or higher preferred
- 2+ years of strong successful experience in a transactional B2B environment selling services preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers
- Exceptional analytical skills
- CRM pipeline management experience
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Advanced negotiation and motivational skills
- Ability to build rapport, collaborate with others and work with cross-functional teams within the organization
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and ability to adapt to technology platforms
- Exceptional work ethic, integrity, and accountability
- Ability to perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demands
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiences
- Valid driver license and good driving record
