Where the chemistry happens…
The Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Auditor ensures compliance with the GLP quality standards for regulatory studies as failure of BASF to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) GLP regulatory requirements can result in delays or cancelled product registration.
This role is located in Research Triangle Park, NC and features a hybrid working arrangement, with a combination of working from home and onsite each week, depending on workload and other factors.
As a GLP Auditor, You Create Chemistry By...
- Assuring that studies, personnel, and the BASF testing facility are in compliance with the EPA GLP requirements by independently planning, conducting and reporting study-based and testing facility-based inspections.
- Proactively acting to identify and resolve significant compliance challenges as well as considering implications of their proposed solutions.
- Supporting regulatory inspections/audits.
- Independently inspecting contract facilities to assess the level of compliance under FIFRA (Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act) GLP standards, and recognizing deviations from the promulgated GLP standard as well as the magnitude of these deviations.
If you...
- Have a BS in chemistry, biotechnology, life sciences or related field of study as well as 6+ years relevant laboratory experience or an advanced degree in the same fields of study with 4+ years relevant laboratory experience.
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the EPA FIFRA and/or Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) GLP regulations.
- Have advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office) and know-how of relevant databases and software.
- Are a detail-oriented with strong organizational skills directed toward the completion of task-oriented procedures.
- Have effective and proactive communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written English as well as the ability to work under time pressure.
- Able to travel 10% (US and Canada)
