THE JOB:

The Seasonal Starbucks Barista will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with a welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, the candidate will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable

• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests

• Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with necessary condiments

• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment

• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed

• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must possess availability to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays

• Has a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Has prior relevant experience working as a food handler in a food and beverage or similar environment

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$23.00

 

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

 

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
