The 50+ Product Engineering teams that develop our products and services rely on Nexthink's Technical Platform group to provide platforms, tools and services that ease their daily work and improve the developer productivity and experience.</p><p>We are looking for a passionate and innovative professional who is keen to join our Delivery team, which is part of the Technical Platform Engineering group! The Delivery team provides an internal development platform comprised of tools and services for deploying product components to different environments and releasing features to production. Their mission is to enable our Product Engineering organisation to deliver the Nexthink product to customers quickly and reliably.</p><p>Join a small team of diverse and experienced engineers who have full ownership of their domains, from the requirements gathering and design phase to implementation, validation, and deployment. You will work closely with Product Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams to understand developer needs, design and implement solutions, and promote them for adoption and usage. You will be part of a group that carves out our golden CI/CD path, and works together to build a world-class internal developer platform with modern technologies and best practices.</p><p><strong>As a Platform Engineer, you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Work with architects, team leads, and developers on activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, and reviewing design and implementation proposals.</li><li>Lead the development of internal self-service tools and platforms for the deployment of microservices and infrastructure components. </li><li>Own the required technical work for different projects, from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.</li><li>Participate in the decisions regarding the feasibility and planning of the roadmap with EMs and PMs.</li><li>Specify metrics and data that should be collected for monitoring, reliability, and telemetry to assess the platform's health, benefits, and adoption.</li><li>Engage with Nexthink's developers to build relationships, identify potential areas of improvement, and help drive the adoption of the team's platforms. </li><li>Document solutions built by the team and organize workshops and training to spread knowledge to the development teams.</li><li>Detect, diagnose and fix deployment incidents in development and production environments, finding solutions to achieve required service levels. </li></ul><p><strong>As a Technical Lead, you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Set and execute the team's vision, roadmap, and technical standards.</li><li>Own, organize, and drive cross-team technical initiatives in the Technical Platform.</li><li>Represent the team and be the point of contact for external stakeholders, such as the Architecture, Security, Product, Operations, and Legal teams.</li><li>Lead the team and support, mentor, and develop the team members.</li><li>Work with the Engineering Manager on the growth and career progression of the team members.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong><strong>Minimum qualifications</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. </li><li>5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer with knowledge of best practices of professional software development.</li><li>Experience developing automated CI/CD pipelines using a GitOps framework.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. </li><li>1+ year of experience in a technical leadership role. </li><li>Strong experience defining guidelines for using different CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, ArgoCD, Flux, Crossplane, Jenkins).</li><li>Experience building self-service internal development platforms. </li><li>Familiarity with working with Kubernetes and writing custom operators.</li><li>Sol
