General Laborer

Shift Transit is a leader in North American urban bicycle and scooter share program development and operations. Shift Transit has years of experience planning, implementing, and operating bicycle and scooter share programs across North America. Through careful planning and collaboration with our clients in each city, we take pride in delivering an excellent experience to both our riders and our clients.

Shift Transit is looking for temporary/contract laborers for launch associates who can assist with launching and expanding bike and scooter share in Portland, OR. This job could turn into a long-term position for the right candidate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Scooter assembly (training provided)
• Station warehouse work
• Field work

Required Skills and Experience

• A valid Driver’s License is required for the job.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must have the ability to: bend, crawl, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions outdoors in extreme climate and conditions.
