Job Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Vendor (all genders) to build a best in class Machine Learning platform to support our fundamental shift to machine learning in the Vendor vertical at Delivery Hero. You will be working with a team of ML Engineers and Data Scientists deploying advanced ML services to solve complex problems, delivering revenue for Delivery Hero at the frontline of our profitability journey.

Your mission: 

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions and services tailored to specific product requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into effective ML solutions.

• Implement scalable and reliable infrastructure to support machine learning services in a production environment.

• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of ML services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in machine learning to continually enhance service offerings.

• Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders during the integration and deployment of machine learning solutions.

• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ML services into existing systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.

• Deep understanding of storage and caching methodologies.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Golang.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders including product and engineering teams.

Nice to have: 

• Experience working in an Ad Tech data science team involving neural network-based machine learning solutions to ranking, recommendations, and bidding.
