About the role
This is a remote position.
Schedule:- Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Poole, UK (with 30-minutes unpaid break)
Role Overview:
As E-commerce Manager, you will own the end-to-end management of our online store. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing the user journey, improving website performance, and collaborating with marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize our Shopify store (products, categories, promotions, UX)
- Oversee ecommerce performance reporting, including website analytics, conversion rates, and KPIs
- Implement SEO, CRO, and digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales
- Coordinate marketing campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels
- Work closely with product, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure operational excellence
- Manage agency and freelancer relationships as needed
- Proactively identify website issues, troubleshoot, and liaise with technical support if necessary
- Management and Training Coordination: Respond to emails, facilitate training, coordinate team activities, update work processes, and create comprehensive work guides
- Assist the director with a range of business tasks including scheduling, reporting, supplier coordination, and project follow-ups
Requirements
- Proven experience managing ecommerce stores (Shopify experience highly desirable)
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using GA4, Shopify Analytics, and reporting dashboards
- Proficient in using tools like Excel/Google Sheets
- Good understanding of SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media advertising
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices for ecommerce
- Commercial mindset with an eye for growth opportunities
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently
- Excellent English Communication: Both written and verbal
- Some experience in Image / video editing
Good to have:
- Experience with international ecommerce or marketplace integrations (e.g., TikTok Shop, Amazon).
- Experience in 3rd party order management like Linnworks
- Experience in applying AI to business / website areas
