The financial planning and analysis team is responsible for contributing to the financial planning, budgeting, strategic planning and monthly reporting activities at the consolidated level pertaining to the income statement, cash flow and balance sheet. This position is responsible for the development of the financial and other support models specific to the Marketing department that will be utilized to forecast the consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow results of the monthly actual and forecast process. This position will create management level presentations with financial results and supporting analysis. The position will need to provide analytical and financial support including reporting to the Marketing leadership team. The position will need to develop, enhance and maintain relationships with divisional controllers, team members, peers, and the Finance organization overall.  Also, this role will offer solutions to streamline and automate processes through cross divisional collaboration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Development of the financial planning, budgeting and monthly reporting activities for the Marketing department pertaining to the income statement, cash flow and balance sheet.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend forecasting, to provide insights into operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and marketing, to support the development of business cases, ROI analysis, and long-term financial strategies.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial results, and trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for decision – making, while also providing recommendations for cost optimization and profitability improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate Degree required.  MBA or CPA highly preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial analysis and accounting experience, preferably in an FP&A function within a public company or division thereof.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft D365, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is highly desired. 
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication and organization skills are critical.
  • Experience in presenting and discussing financial information with business and financial leaders is a plus.
  • MBA or CPA highly preferred.
  • Experience in Hospitality and/or vacation ownership industries is very helpful, but not required. Must work well in a fast paced changing environment and work well under time constraints.
  • Must have an ability to work with different cultures.
  • Hybrid position - work 4 days in office M-Th and work from home on Friday.
