Job Description

ServiceNow Cloud Observability, formally Lightstep, enables teams to detect and resolve regressions quickly, regardless of system scale or complexity. We integrate seamlessly into daily workflows, whether you are proactively optimizing performance or investigating a root cause so you can quickly get back to building features.  We are creating the most complete, unified, primary observability platform.  We are looking for an experienced product leader to accelerate the delivery of Cloud Observability's unique and differentiated vision to our market. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an expert in the observability space and fluent with the technologies and concepts in the cloud-native landscape. Beyond leading our PM org, you will partner closely with ServiceNow Cloud Observability's GTM leadership as well as with the GM (Ben Sigelman) and ServiceNow executives involved with our joint strategy. This product leadership role is critical to our long-term success, and you will be able to have a massive impact on our business as well as the overall market over the coming years.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Attracting, motivating, and developing the talented humans in ServiceNow Cloud Observability's product organization
  • Crafting and executing a prioritized product roadmap that enables our business goals
  • Creating a collective understanding of both the “why” and the “what” of our product strategy and roadmap
  • Along with the ServiceNow Cloud Observability GM, iterating and reporting on our long-term product vision and strategy. 
  • Partnering with ServiceNow management on our product strategy, execution, and forward planning
  • Partnering with other ServiceNow Cloud Observability leaders to continuously iterate on our processes and ways of working to optimize all of the above

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Expertise in the observability space and are fluent with the technologies and concepts in the cloud-native landscape
  • Successfully led multi-level product organizations 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and customers. Have the ability to partner effectively with internal leaders as well as top customers. 
  • Operated fluently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment

 

 

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $227,600 - $398,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.  Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
