Senior Rebate Analyst, Rebates and Fees

 

About the role:
This role is a key member of the Rebates and Fees Team within Commercial Services ensuring accurate data and compliance for Boston Scientific.  The Senior Analyst is responsible for performing multifaceted analyses to assess customer contract performance. The role will be primarily responsible for the settlement and payment of rebates for BSC’s largest accounts (Focus 85 accounts) and for the Electrophysiology division.   Supports BSC customers by ensuring contract compliance, resolving complex rebate issues between our internal partners, customers and the BSC sales force.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the processing, settlement, payment and reporting of rebates for our largest Corporate Accounts (Focus 85 accounts) across all divisions, with an emphasis on the settlement of Electrophysiology rebates. Use BSC’s Revenue Management system (MNRC) to process rebate settlements.
  • Provide oversight and insightful analysis in rebate settlement, while partnering with leadership to drive key strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and analyze rebate reporting for business partners.
  • Manage and execute on customer and field communications for the collection of market share data.
  • Provide advice and expertise regarding past successfully executed agreements and future settlement options.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to meet the growing volume of rebate settlements.
  • Support and maintain data files to allow ease of reporting on KPIs to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of contract requirements to ensure all relevant contract rebate obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support internal reporting requirements as it pertains to rebate payments.
  • Recommend, develop, and coordinate policies and procedures related to business administration to ensure efficiency and accuracy of operations.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to clarify and/or resolve questions related to agreement language, contract setup or customer requirements.
  • Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Exercises judgment to determine appropriate actions.  Has knowledge of alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the business or technological environment.

 
What we're looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with four years of work experience in finance, accounting, sales operations, contract or rebate administration or another related field.
  • Comfortable multitasking and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally to drive process improvements and business results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities.
