About the role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Sr. Principal Product Manager to lead the product strategy and execution for our next-generation research and model building platform within the Health Data Intelligence organization. This platform, built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), will provide a comprehensive environment for healthcare customers, including internal consulting and science teams, providers, life sciences companies, states, and payers, to conduct research, develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and AI models. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, a strong technical background, and a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the research and model building platform, aligning with overall Health Data Intelligence goals and market needs.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to translate product requirements into detailed specifications and user stories.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and development capacity.
  • Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and post-launch support.
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and validate product direction.
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships and partnerships with multiple organizations across Oracle.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in machine learning, AI, and healthcare technology.
  • Present product updates and strategy to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on platform products and/or data science tools.   
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Strong technical background, with experience in machine learning, AI, and cloud computing (OCI preferred).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.   

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Familiarity with various machine learning frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $115,400 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
