Summary of the Manager, Revenue Cycle Relationship
The RCMS Manager will oversee billing and revenue cycle success to maximize effectiveness and accuracy. They will help implement solutions to billing problems and oversee testing of system modifications designed to accommodate these solutions. They will also participate in long-term planning and implementation projects to ensure effective use of current and future technology. As a Manager, they’ll select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Responsibilities for the Manager, Revenue Cycle Relationship
- Provide successful operational management of all partner facing engagements as outlined in the pertinent contracts and Statements of Work Accountable for the ongoing satisfaction and growth of Customer engagements
- Accountable for support of growth and bookings targets
- Contribute to the development and execution efforts of Standard Operating Procedures and programmatic support to enhance the department objectives and the customer relationship
- Conduct regular partnership reviews with Customers to exhibit value in terms of Adoption, Support and Performance
- Review, analyze, and provide data to the balance of the leadership team on outcomes of both customer engagement and team member performance Familiarity with Qualifacts platforms and functionality in terms of value proposition/ROI for the Customer
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes at federal, state, and local levels for all regions resulting in a proactive approach to industry updates, changes, and most of all customer service
- Thorough oversite and optimization of the revenue cycle are the primary focus to achieve effective, efficient, and profitable product offerings, however general knowledge and navigation of the balance of the product offerings are also required
- Assign out roles and deliverables to the department
- Meet 1:1 with individual contributors to mentor, coach, and ensure execution of stellar customer service
Qualifications of the Manager, Revenue Cycle Relationship
- Bachelor’s degree, plus 6 years of related experience in client success; or master’s degree plus 2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management
- Experience in EHR applications for medical billing, or Behavioral Healthcare billing preferred
- Customer Relationship Experience (CRM) - Communication Skills (written/oral) and Active Listening Skills
- Project Management Skills (PM) - Action Planning/Change Management and Organizational Skills
- Financial/Revenue Cycle/Business Background - Financial Literacy and Negotiation Training
- Healthcare Background - Behavioral Health Experience and Cultural/Community Awareness
- Growth/Sales/Sales Support Experience – Creating Value Approach and Solution minded

- Competent in executing planning, setting priorities, and workforce management
- Competent in providing guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies and procedures
- Competent with reporting and data analytics in support of engagement requirements
- Competent with contractual terms/language, obligations and legal/risk management
- Competent in Financial Statement (i.e., P&L, Balance Sheet, revenue & expense) results and terminology
