Location: This position can be based at any Linde location globally. 

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an Associate Director PGP Distribution to join our team! The PGP team in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) works closely with colleagues in the respective operating segments and Regions in the areas of Cylinder Filling and Handling, Specialty Gases, Inventory Management, Distribution and Logistics.  Our aim is to define and share Operational and Plant Engineering Best Practices, drive productivity improvements in support of regional objectives, jointly define the globally valid KPI’s, and identify, promote, and collaborate on global projects, ultimately improving our business and operational performance.

The Associate Director, PGP Distribution will drive improvement in the Inventory Management, Network and Supply Chain areas.  You will interact with our colleagues in the Regions and will impact our business performance globally. You will also be responsible for defining the best practice process and tools for our cylinder delivery operations areas to build performance improvement. 

This position will regularly interact with Regional and Segment Cylinder Operations & Distribution leads directly and through Peer Teams, Regional PGP Operational Leadership Teams, Group Safety organisation for Cylinder and operational issues, Linde Digital as a key enabler for the Cylinder operations, and Group Corporate Functions – (examples Productivity, SHEQ, Finance, Procurement, IT).

Salary Range- $ 122,025 to $ 178,970   (commensurate with industry experience)

What you will be doing:

Purpose of the position

·         Drive and improve operational performance in PGP Distribution areas specifically Logistics, Distribution & Network Design.

·         Lead implementation of Real Time Execution – RTx – key technology across top 30 PGP operations in Linde

·         Set strategic direction in Process and Technology for PGP Distribution & Logistics

·         Provide insight and direction to identify and capitalise on improvement opportunities in PGP Operational activities across regions and networks

·         Develop, support, and implement a portfolio of global best practices and replication programs
