JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College/Unit of IST is seeking applicants for part-time job of Part-Time Research Technician.

Research technician will be expected to assist in ongoing research projects in the Silverman lab.

Job duties to include:

• Data cleaning
• Processing, and analysis;
• Regular meetings with the PI to discuss
• Progress and future directions; quarterly presentations to the Silverman lab and potential presentations at conferences and symposia depending on progress.

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

• Successful applicants will have a strong math background which

  includes linear algebra, multivariate calculus, probability theory,

  and statistics; strong coding skills with familiarity with python and or the R programming languages.

• 10-20 Hours per week

Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $15.00
