The Global Fleet Performance Leader – Blades will lead our fleet performance management blades team This team will provide wing to wing major product issue technical ownership on Blade inspection, disposition, track and trend of blade issues, support RCAs, track medicine implementation & repair engineering.

In this role, you are responsible for driving sustained product improvement throughout our contracted fleet striving to build the worlds best running fleet. You will develop, own, implement, and support product quality initiatives across the global product for blades, and will drive process improvement, closed loop lessons learned with our design segment partners across product life cycle.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Wing to Wing product issue ownership for blade inspections, PAC dispositions, Blade repair engineering
• Technical expertise in customer communications of product issues related to blades
• Own, lead, execute, and resolve all Critical and Minor RCAs together with blades fleet engineering
• Facilitate fast track containment
• Work with O&M team to schedule seamless blade inspection strategy.
• Work with larger services team to identify emerging issues and lead the efforts to pro actively address them.
• Drive actions from inspection / repair Kaizen to drive better and faster fleet resolution
• Interface with cross functional teams for RCA Support, Top Issues execution, etc
• Represent FPM for key design tollgates
• Provide immediate learnings & feedback to our partner functions on fleet issues
• Identify, daily manage, action plan, and problem solve product fleet quality and RCA KPIs in the Segment
• Develop and implement cross-segment RCA communication and approval process to ensure corrective actions taken in all appropriate spots
• Work to drive improved focus on product quality with our design engineering teams
• Own and support driving actions from Quality PSR countermeasures
• Drive problem solving tools and methods throughout the FPM Team.  Define what tools can be of most use for the team (Six Sigma, Red X, 8D, TRIZ, etc), develop training and implement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Wind Turbine Engineering and/or Product Management
• Minimum of 3 years experience managing global teams
• Ability and willingness to travel globally 30% of the time

Desired Characteristics

• Experience leading and executing RCAs including problem solving tools
• Experience in leading blade repair execution or blade engineering team.
• Experience with Quality systems, procedure development, training, and execution
• Experience with customer communications around both Quality and RCAs
• MBB certified
• Experience with Lean: tools, coaching, running Kaizens, etc.
• Advanced degree in Engineering and/or MBA preferred

The base pay range for this position is $152,400.00 - 203,200.00 - 254,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation of 15%.  This posting is expected to close no earlier than September 5, 2025.
