Groundskeeper - Seasonal

Overview

We are seeking seasonal grounds keeping team members to begin working in fall months. This position is seasonal during the grounds keeping season and can work part-time hours and/or up to 15-30 hour per week in the fall months. The hours depend on the weather. This position is flexible to work around school extracurricular activities. This position may extend into October or even November. Applicants must be 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license in the State of Ohio and be insurable by Otterbein’s insurance.

The hourly starting wage is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities 

• This position will perform a variety of tasks involving maintenance of the Otterbein Granville Community grounds. 
• This includes, but is not limited to, mowing, trimming, blowing, mulching, pruning, plant installation, watering, weeding, and fertilizing.
• This individual must have the ability to operate company equipment and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.

 Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.  High school students (at least 16 years old) and college students are welcomed to apply. 
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Experience: Previous mowing and related grounds maintenance or related work is preferred.
