Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Jackson, Inc. has immediate openings for a teammates in the role of Warehouse Counterperson.  The role of the Warehouse Counterperson position includes receiving, stocking, issuing, verifying, counting, and maintaining all MRO assets in the South Warehouse.  This includes, but is not limited to, cycle counting, maintaining inventory quantities in the CMMS system, serving as backup for the primary receiver, staging of items for maintenance jobs, and other administrative duties as assigned.  Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Manager or Supervisor Recommendation  
2. High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse experience or equivalent work experience.
• Experience using CMMS and ERP systems.
