Join Watlow’s industrial supply chain team as a Senior Buyer, where you'll manage purchasing requests, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. You'll evaluate supplier quotes, optimize material flow, and align supply chain processes with business goals to drive cost efficiency and service excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming and external purchasing requests across departments.
• Generate and process purchase orders to support operational needs.
• Track delivery of goods and services to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Purchase and negotiate materials, equipment, and supplies from suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and services to identify optimal sourcing options.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate the movement of materials, parts, finished goods, and related information.
• Monitor logistics to optimize cost and service levels across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for procurement and logistics activities.
• Align supply chain processes with overall business needs and strategic goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Ability to analyze supplier quotes and make data-driven decisions
• Knowledge of logistics and material flow optimization
• Experience aligning supply chain strategies with business objectives
