Responsibilities:
o Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to Contractor staff. Mentor and support the
professional development of team members.
o Act as the Contractor’s primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including
senior management and other departments.
o Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
o Track and report on contract financials, including expenses and resource allocation.
o Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
o Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, including project plans, status
reports, and meeting minutes.
o Serves as Deputy Operations Director providing leadership and strategic direction for
the program.
o Also includes project coordinator and project manager responsibilities.
Qualifications:
o This role must have a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (e.g., science, public
health, business or project management), a master’s degree is preferred.
o Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Attachment 1
o Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in portfolio, program, and project
management support. If degree is not in a science-related field, at least 5 years of that
experience must be in a biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, academic medical center,
or health-related organization.
o Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in serving as a team lead / project lead
position.
o Operational program/project management experience for a federal agency strongly
preferred.
o Experience with OTA preferred.
