About the role

Job Purpose

The Manager, Product Strategy is responsible for defining and delivering intelligent, data-driven solutions that improve financial clearance and front-end revenue cycle performance for healthcare clients. This role owns the product strategy and execution for Patient Intake Automation, translating payer authorization requirements, eligibility logic, and operational intake workflows into scalable product capabilities.
Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, Operations, and Client stakeholders, the Senior Product Manager prioritizes features that reduce avoidable front-end denials, streamline patient registration processes, and accelerate upfront patient collections. Through continuous evaluation of workflow performance, payer behavior, and product outcomes, this role ensures Patient Intake Automation delivers measurable financial impact while supporting the enterprise vision of driving better results through intelligent technology.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Work closely with stakeholders and developers to craft a clear product vision that aligns with Med-Metrix’s overall goals.
• Define and drive product strategy based on competitive positioning and long-term vision, with a focus on creating measurable operational and financial value.
• Serve as a trusted partner to operational leaders and executive stakeholders, clearly communicating product strategy, workflow impacts, and delivery progress in a manner that builds confidence and alignment.
• Drive workflow standardization while supporting configurable pathways to meet client-specific, payer-specific, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate roadmap priorities, release impacts, and performance outcomes with transparency, setting realistic expectations while maintaining momentum and stakeholder confidence.
• Collaborate with client-facing and delivery teams to support workflow adoption, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Influence without authority by aligning diverse perspectives, navigating competing priorities, and driving consensus toward shared business objectives.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap.
• Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and initiatives based on data-driven insights and a deep understanding of customer requirements and business objectives.
• Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Scrum Teams through the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch. Monitor and track project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure project milestones are met, communicating with stakeholders throughout.
• Work with stakeholders, development leads and Associate Product Managers on priorities and day-to-day execution, while exercising strong decision making across the team.
• Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful completion of release/sprint goals.
• Support product demos and user acceptance testing.
• Define success metrics and deliver clear, actionable reporting that demonstrates the impact and outcomes of product releases to stakeholders.
• Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in product management supporting healthcare technology solutions.
• Systems-oriented and automation focused mindset to help drive operational transformations.
• Demonstrated success delivering and managing products across the full product lifecycle, from discovery through release and iteration.
• Experience with healthcare workflow technologies, direct experience with patient access functions a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with operators and executive leadership, delivering clear, professional presentations that translate complex concepts into confidence-building, decision-ready insights.
• Proficiency with core product delivery activities, including requirements definition (e.g., Jira or similar tools), MVP development, and managing on-time releases within Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of iterative development practices, including prototyping and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience working with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR and/or HL7, to support system integrations and data exchange.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and drive insight-based decisions.
