Parts Counter

Do you enjoy finding the right part for your customer? Chesapeake Ford Truck in Upper Marlboro is searching for a Parts Counter rep to assist our customers. This role is responsible for the coordination and sales of parts to all internal and external customers.  This is a full-time position offering benefits. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-6pm and Sat 7am-2pm

1. Assisting customers in selecting required parts
2. Up-selling specials as well as informing customers of companion part requirements
3. Providing price quotes, receiving payments, and obtaining credit authorizations
4. Following up with customers regarding back-ordered parts
5. Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully    apply them in daily activities
6. Assist shop technicians by retrieving and ordering parts for existing work orders
7. Coordinate any procurement of necessary parts in conjunction with the parts manager
8. Forklift operation
9. All other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

Pay is $18-20/hr.
