Position Overview:
Provide efficient product flow throughout the manufacturing process in a manner that ensures all products meet internal specifications for quality, compliance, and established standards. Ensures inspection guidelines are followed in a consistent manner to safeguard end-customer’s satisfaction, company reputation, and the safety of all stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and department-specific Quality Inspection, auditing, compliance, and Critical Process inspections throughout the plant in a standardized, efficient, and repeatable manner.
- Provide training to others on critical-to-quality product and process criteria.
- Move boats to various locations (repaint, outside, warehouse, etc.) manually or by pallet jack and assist in heat-shrinking boats as required.
- Works on special projects geared towards product or process improvement.
- Serve as a gatekeeper for customer satisfaction and a quality leader within the facility.
- Ability to perform independently as well as in a team role, possess good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Actively participate in and work in a safe manner.
- Work overtime as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read drawings and specifications.
- Must have solid mechanical skills, utilize basic math and reading skills, ability to utilize hand and power tools.
- Must have computer, math and reading proficiency and ability to use databases.
- Ability to receive and follow instruction.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to change with attention to detail.
- Works in manufacturing environment.
- Regularly required to stand (10 hours per day), walk, climb and bend.
- Exposed to noise.
- Computer skills and knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and LSS is a plus
The anticipated pay range for this position is $19.00 – $21.75, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
