As a Lead Expert Premix Formulation & Segment Lead for the EMEA TTH (Taste, Texture & Health) team (ISOL and Taste), you play a key role enabling EMEA premix business growth (strategy 2025-2028) by driving the necessary changes in ways of working in the Formulation & Application team, and providing technical expertise and formulation support. You work closely with the Formulation and Application team as well as with the sales and commercial team (internal partners Technical Sales Managers/TSMs, Account Managers/AMs and Commercial PMX Manager and external partners).

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support premix strategy deployment by guiding the TTH formulation team and improving team processes.
• Maintain formulas and production/quality information.
• Innovate new project concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Present formulation and application topics regionally, collaborate with sales & marketing to realize business opportunities and provide technical support.
• Perform and support daily formulation tasks, provide technical guidance to various internal functions.
• Manage knowledge sharing and training initiatives. Coach and train team members and act as the focal point for the TTH formulations team.
• Lead projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments for new raw materials and guide their implementation

You Bring

• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position, MSc or equivalent in Science/Technical Discipline, preferably Food Science or Technology.
• Proven leadership experience in matrix organizations and in coaching/influencing others.

• Proficiency in result management and documentation (MS Office). Experience with formulation team tools and with SAP/CRM.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work in multicultural teams, project management and customer skills.
• Knowledge of GMP and food safety systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience in dsm-firmenich TTH business segments and translating technical requests into sales opportunities.
• Broad knowledge of dsm-firmenich Premix ingredients is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English; multi-language skills, French is a plus
