Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Float Pool Unit who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As an RN, you will:
• Develops a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identifies impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiates corrective action.
• Mentors students, colleagues and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conducts purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.

Qualifications include:
• Current Maryland State nursing license
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Passing score on NCLEX
• 1 year experience in relevant clinical area
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Certification in specialty once qualified

Work Schedule:

This is a per diem position with a rate of $60/hour

 

Must be able to work in at least two acute care areas:

Two 12-hour night shifts per week (24hrs/week)

Two 12-hour weekend night shifts (Saturday and Sunday night only)

One summer holiday, one winter holiday, and one minor holiday requirement

Pay Range:

$37.00 - $55.00

If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
