Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

The annual salary for this position ranges from $72,000 - $80,000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for distribution activities to ensure that customer requirements are consistently satisfied while achieving performance targets related to inventory efficiency, distribution efficiency, and quality compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee the material handling team to meet safety, performance, and quality standards.
  • Deliver operational excellence and performance through prioritizing and executing the daily work plan and workflow by reviewing receivers, picking, and shipping documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, production, and customer service to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment to meet customer requirements.
  • Responsible for managing the movement and storage of products while ensuring the material is accounted for accurately and is without damage.
  • Follow up with customer inquiries regarding shipping dates and times.
  • Manage material acquisition and stock program control.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives that directly influence short and mid-term impact on company growth, financial results, customer relationships, and operational effectiveness.
  • Achieve KPI goals related to receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping from a cost and service standpoint.
  • Partner with the Management team to conduct inventory cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with transportation handler to optimize the dock and ensure on-time ship is achieved.
  • Train new associates ensuring compliance with forklift/ clamp truck certifications and annual recertification per the Safety policy.
  • Conduct performance management activities for employees; including hiring and termination duties.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Degree or Equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in Warehouse leadership. 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Material Handling, Logistics, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of operations ERP and shipping systems.
