Who You'll Work With:

We are seeking a Nashville based Senior Alternative Platform Analyst (“PA”) to join our Platform Architecture team in Global Technology & Operations.

Plat Arch is searching for an experienced individual, who is passionate about creating scalable processes and delivering consistent and highly intuitive, digital experiences to our high net worth, institutional, retail, and RIA clients.  The PA reports to the Head of Platform Architecture and will work closely with them and team colleagues to plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage product launches and changes.

The ideal candidate can understand and articulate broad business goals while rolling up their sleeves to analyze and summarize vast data sets. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years at a financial services firm or equivalent, be familiar with investment concepts, and agile with data manipulation and maintenance. MBA and/or experience from a transfer agency, investor/shareholder services, or operational function at a hedge fund, private equity firm, fund-of-fund, and/or related service provider (administrator, auditor, fintech, etc.) is a plus.

The Platform Architecture (“PlatArch”) team aligns with AB’s Private Alternatives, Private Wealth Management, Client Group and reports into Global Technology & Operations. Plat Arch supports approximately $100 in AUM, $30 billion of which are invested in alternative products and complex fund structures including private equity, private credit, hedge funds, fund of funds, co-invests, business trusts, business development corporations, and other commingled vehicles domiciled in Cayman, Delaware, Ireland, Luxembourg, and beyond. Investment strategies include Private Credit/Middle Market Loans, Real Estate, Emerging Equity, Energy, Multi-Manager, etc.  They will also develop solutions for Core products with internal and external providers.

Plat Arch collaborates with product development, legal, fund accounting, sales, technology, and external service providers to onboard investment teams & strategies and to maintain their ongoing operations. The team is also tasked with increasing scale and capabilities through automation and design of efficient processes & tools, while instituting best practices. In addition, Plat Arch seeks to deliver an intuitive and consistent experience for our clients and staff across our diverse set of alternative vehicles. Thematic goals include:

• Support Growth – Increase scale and capabilities of Alternatives platform through automation and design of efficient processes & innovative tools

• Service Quality – Deliver an intuitive, consistent, and modern experience for our clients and staff across all Alternatives data, reporting, transactions, and account events

• Financial/Productivity – Reduce operational cost and risk by reducing redundant client portals and product document management

What You'll Do:

The Platform Analyst is a key role for our firm providing technical and business leadership to propel our alternatives capabilities forward.

The PA will attend cross-functional Product Development meetings with Legal, Fund Accounting, Sales, and others.  They will represent the Plat Arch team on fund launch initiatives, contribute ideas for structuring and reducing time to market, and be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining the fund, share classes, fee schedules, allocations, and dozens of other attributes and data points across AB systems.  They will advocate for consistent fund terms/features/functionality.  The PM will be responsible for understanding each product’s unique requirements from an operations, reporting, and client experience perspective, document the delta from which AB currently supports, and lead developers and staff to enhance systems to address.   The PM may r
