Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist will provide general services to the Human Resources department to assist with hiring, employee onboarding, employee communication, process status changes, maintain employee files and terminations. This role is responsible for enforcing HR policies and procedures.
The position’s key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support New Hire Orientation process weekly: review documents, process e-verify, process I-9s and legal compliance.
- Process internal changes: promotions, job titles, exemption status, etc.
- Process internal education programs.
- Verification of employment.
- Assist with auditing employee files.
- Communicating with employees and managers to provide information and assistance concerning employment, policies and procedures.
- Conduct minimum wage audit – bi-annually.
- New Employee Survey – communication, data analysis report creation.
- Communicate with various departments and campuses.
- Create and analyze reports on a variety of operations programs.
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to help
improve the employee experience. - Assist field HR Business partners with all HR needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Human Resources Operations Department
Pay Starting at $26/hr+
Qualifications
- Associate degree, Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience working in HR function
- Clear understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
- Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to be an example of a Change Agent
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, DocuSign, HR Ticketing System and other technical programs.
- Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member.
- Working hours of 8:30am-5:30pm PST
