The Opportunity   We’re seeking a visionary Senior Product Designer to own and continue evolving our design function as the sole product designer. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience across al our products, ensuring that design is at the forefront of our product development process. You will be instrumental in defining our design vision, process and culture. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and clients to deeply understand user needs and translate them into clear, thoughtful, and effective product experiences. This role requires a balance of hands-on design work, strategic thinking, and strong leadership and communication skills. The Company We are a small team with a big vision: to be the premier provider of cloud technology solutions for retailers. • Design Leadership – Ability to define and champion strategic design vision across products, driving consistency, usability, and innovation.
• User-Centered Approach – Deep expertise in conducting user research, developing personas, and applying insights to inform thoughtful design decisions.
• Visual and Interaction Design Excellence – Skilled in creating polished, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces, from wireframes to high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
• AI Augmented Design & Delivery – Ability to leverage AI assisted design and development tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate exploration, prototyping, documentation, and handoff.
• Spec- Driven & Systems Thinking – Strong understanding of spec-driven development (SDD), translating product intent and user needs into clear, structured specifications that scale across teams.
• Prototyping, Testing & UX Writing – Ability to rapidly prototype, test, and refine designs, incorporating clear UX writing to improve usability and product clarity.
• Autonomy and Initiative – Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while building upon and evolving existing design practices.

The impact you'll make

• Own the end-to-end design process: user research, persona development, journey mapping, interaction design, UI design, prototyping, UX writing, and usability testing.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, design iteration, prototype generation, and spec creation while maintaining high standards of craft, usability, and accessibility.
• Author clear, structured product and design specifications that enable spec-driven development, reduce ambiguity, and improve collaboration with engineering.
• Evolve design workflows by identifying opportunities where AI tools and automation can improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across the product lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain a design system that ensures consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across our products.
• Define and evangelize the design vision across the product suite while contributing user insights into product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional decision-making.
• Help mentor future design hires as the design function continues to scale.

What you will bring

• 5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong user-centered thinking and end-to-end design execution.
• Experience designing B2B enterprise SaaS applications.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience using AI assisted design or development tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of modern product design and delivery workflows.
