Description of Job: The Housekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of property buildings assigned. This includes responding to cleaning work orders, ensuring upkeep of building interiors and exteriors, executing cleaning programs as instituted by management and policy/procedure, and compliance with company and agency regulations.

Job Duties/Skills:

• Clean and maintain property, buildings, and amenities including removal of trash, sweeping/mopping, disinfection, cleaning of restrooms, restocking household items (towels, chemicals, soaps, hand sanitizers, etc.), cleaning of break areas, cleaning of grounds, etc.
• Observe all fair housing rules and regulations and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Assure needed reporting is done with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the care and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company.
• Reports any maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Inspects and reports any lighting outages (interior or exterior) to supervisor.
• Operate within OSHA and company standards.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the employee’s supervisor/manager and/or in accordance with business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: None required
• Physical Abilities: This is a labor-intensive position with frequent bending/stooping/standing, exposure to chemicals and the elements, frequent lifting of 20+ pounds, occasional lifting of 50+ pounds, ability to walk over multiple types of surfaces.
• Interpersonal Abilities: Teamwork, integrity

• Valid Driver’s License
• Infrequent travel up to 10%
