EquipmentShare is searching for a Corporate Development Leader for our Corporate Headquarters located in Columbia, MO (Remote). This individual will be responsible for managing the Finance department for EquipmentShare, working closely with management and the company’s lending partners to help bring in new funding, manage the lifecycle of the funding portfolio, including the related collateralized assets, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of that information, as requested.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead across all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle, including the formation, coordination and leadership of deal teams, due diligence, and represent EquipmentShare in deal negotiations.
  • The role will also lead deal origination and M&A development in partnership with the Business Development leads. 
  • Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with investment banks, and transaction advisors. 
  • Monitoring and reporting M&A competitor activities, landscape trends and key marketplace activities to the c-suite.
  • Financial modeling for project development, M&A, and corporate financing initiatives.
  • Creating, reviewing, and managing complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, optimize capital structure, and sensitize for various economic scenarios.
  • Manage a small M&A corporate team and strategize on the team’s growth.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics with a strong academic record.
  • 5-10 years experience in investment banking or corporate development.
  • 2+ years management experience in investment banking or corporate development.
