Advocates is seeking a Clinician for our Family Resource Center!
The Cape Cod Family Resource Center is located in Hyannis, and supports families with a wide range of challenges. We are committed to providing a welcoming and affirming environment. The Clinician completes assessments, facilitates groups, and provides consultation to non-clinical staff in support of high quality services. As a team, we help families connect to supports, access resources, and navigate challenges.

Minimum Education Required
Master's DegreeResponsibilities
- Conduct assessments for family members, including a modified CANS
- Support the development of a collaborative Family Support Plan
- Provide short-term individual or family support on a limited basis, in times of crisis or while waiting for other services
- Support youth and caregiver voice and choice
- Assist Program Director in ensuring that all FRC services are trauma informed and culturally sensitive
- Collaborate with schools, courts, and other community providers to facilitate referrals and care coordination
- Facilitate clinical, psychoeducational, and support groups
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a clinical mental health discipline
- Massachusetts independent licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD)
- 2+ years of experience in providing clinical services to children and families
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- High energy level, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a team atmosphere
- Commitment to Advocates values and mission
- Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations
- Advocates considers lived experience (personal or familial) with the mental health system a valuable asset
