The team continues to grow from strength to strength working with cutting edge companies currently performing R&amp;D in Ireland and also looking to invest in future R&amp;D in Ireland.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p> <p>This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join EY’s fast growing and highly successful R&amp;D Tax practice. The team are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of a growing and dynamic National practice. This position provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to widen their technical and business skill set while working within a professional services environment and proactively contributing to building a business. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>The R&amp;D Manager / Senior Manager in EY’s business will be charged with helping clients identify, document, and support tax positions related to their R&amp;D tax credits. The R&amp;D Manager / Senior Manager will be a critical member of the R&amp;D leadership team and will actively participate in the marketing and business development of the R&amp;D practice, with an emphasis on growing the business. In addition, the R&amp;D Manager / Senior Manager will develop and drive process improvement and team-building initiatives, maintain client relationships, and act as a source of guidance to other team members. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Person: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Master’s / PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields. </li> <li>Five or more years’ experience in R&amp;D tax consulting required including working with clients and providing guidance on R&amp;D tax credits.</li> <li>Prior experience communicating with Irish Revenue and experience of Irish Revenue R&amp;D tax credit audits.</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>Prior experience supervising tax consulting professionals and delegating work assignments as needed</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li> <li>Solid organizational skills, especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on detail</li> <li>Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment</li> <li>Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Ability to promote a positive team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of junior members on the team.</li> <li>Ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>About EY</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As a global leader in Assurance, Tax, Transaction and Advisory Services, we’re using the finance products, expertise, and systems we’ve developed to build a better working world.
