Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain thorough knowledge of the insurance marketplace as well as develop and maintain significant relationships with key underwriters, ensuring thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.
Lead the placement for a defined book of business, specializing in the power and renewable energy industries
Responsible for assessing client needs, designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain most appropriate coverage plans for clients.
Participate in client meetings particularly with respect to placement strategies for new and renewal lines of business.
Develop submissions for all requested lines of business including requesting, compiling and organizing all requested applications and client provided information into a format acceptable to insurers
Manage relationships between the client and carrier partners and/or wholesale brokers including travel where necessary to host or facilitate meetings with your clients.
Work with Analytics team to prepare review and update claims data and/or assist with data analysis to determine program structure options
Analyze quotes for accuracy and prepare proposals / analysis for all quotes received
Coordinate creation of client presentation including quotes, spreadsheets and proposals.
Provide AE with contract review and risk management advice where needed
Assist with pre-renewal and renewal meetings including presenting results to established client contacts
Managing the relationship between the insured/network and the GBC. This will involve targeted travel where required and hosting of clients in London.
Takes primary responsibility for compliance with all requirements for file management, including adherence with all requirements of electronic placing platforms, ensuring KPI’s are met, and relevant data captures are completed for each account.
Participate in Prospect presentations and meetings, as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
8-10 years of relevant work experience required
State specific license is required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong multitasking & time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products; (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher)
Professional in appearance and business conduct with strong customer service
