Responsibilities

As the Production Integrating Manager you will be responsible for producing Lasers, Electronics and Optical products for customers worldwide. Located in Santa Clara, CA. you will manage a team of operators, technicians, supervisors, and 1st level managers as a part of the Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions group. Many of the products are vertically integrated, so specialized processes for manufacturing optical components and laser tubes are performed by the team as well as building the final products.  

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing Lasers, Electronics and Optical products for customers worldwide.
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines and determine the number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.).
  • Liaise with R&D, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Logistics and Quality to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for increasing capacity, reducing costs, outsourcing, equipment investment plans, and transfers.
  • Ensure a strong culture of embracing customer success, making it happen, ownership and accountability.
  • Manage financials to meet on going improvements with revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Improve Gross Margin performance.
  • Deliver quality products on-time to our customers.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role in manufacturing.
  • B.S degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering at a minimum.
  • Experience managing an operation with more than $150M in annual revenue.
  • Experience with precision assembly methods and factory automation.
  • Experience providing detailed progress updates to management stakeholders.
  • Experience working with external customers and manufacturing partners.
  • Experience as an OEM provider.
  • Experience with product transfer experience to lower cost regions.
  • Values a quality first focus for mission critical high value solutions.
  • Demonstration of a professional attitude and courtesy towards others.

  • Managed laser repair and factory service operations
  • Experience with Class 1000 cleanroom environments
  • Knowledge in laser and/or optics manufacturing operations
