Requirements and responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Gathering & organizing , creating & maintaining prioritised backlog for the Hadoop decomm program.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders - Hadoop Users, Architects, Developers,  Product owners, Data stewards - to create the JIRA stories 
• Analyze the consumption off of Hadoop & data pipelines feeding the consumption layer & fine-tune the backlog for Hadoop decomm accordingly
• Analyse the interdependencies across data programs, timing & its impact on Hadoop decomm requirements
• Liaison between business &  IT teams
• Highlight risks & come up with response plans

Key skillsets

• Experience with large scale data programs
• Experience with Hadoop decommissioning programs
• Data migration approaches
• Excellent communication & articulation skills
• experience interfacing with senior stakeholders
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of defining and launching successful large scale data programs.
• Strong understanding of data migrations approaches
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on influencing and driving consensus across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
