Dune Deck Beach Club is seeking SEASONAL full- Member Services Coordinator to join the Member Services Department for the Summer 2025 season. Employment dates are: April 20, 2025 – September 30, 2025. H-2B visa sponsorship is available for in-country extensions.
The Member Services Department is the central communication hub between members, guests and all other club departments. The Member Services Coordinator is the initial point-of-contact for members throughout three areas of the beach club – front desk, spa/fitness and retail. The main objective of the Member Services Coordinator is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for members, guests, and prospects prior to, during and after their visit to the club Club. He/She/They possess a genuinely hospitable spirit and works diligently to anticipate a member’s needs. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet members/guests upon arrival and departure and greet them by name.
- Create and maintain member profiles and preferences.
- Communicate closely with residential services and housekeeping team regarding room requests, arrivals, changes and departures.
- Manage hotel reservation requests within the club lodging software.
- Facilitate updates to the mobile app, including creating events, managing sign-ups and regularly responding to member inquiries via the chat feature
- Coordinate and oversee Well-Being vendors and pop-up programs as needed.
- Create itineraries, coordinate transportation needs, reservations, and activities for members, guests, and visitors and with appropriate departments or vendors.
- Create and update list of trusted local area vendors, stores, and services to recommend to members/guests when requested.
- Answer incoming Club phones and transfer where needed.
- Receive Spa Service requests, book appointments, and coordinate with therapists accordingly.
- Greet and direct guest to gym and/or treatment rooms.
- Assist with maintenance of Fitness area as needed by Fitness Manager.
- If scheduled for retail, coordinators are responsible for opening, operating and closing the boutique.
- Restock inventory, maintain cleanliness and organization standards throughout the shop, assist customers with try-ons and special orders.
- Facilitate retail trunk shows and pop-ups as requested by Director of Member Services.
- Create and provide reports related to specific departments, including a daily report on onsite activity and up-to-date 10-day forecast of visits and special requests.
- Create and update written communication and visual guides including calendars, newsletters, event flyers, app push notifications and more.
- Assist with planning, promoting and executing Club events.
- Help coordinate arrival, set up and departure of any live entertainment and/or vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- H2B Visa Sponsorship: Seeking in-country extension candidates that are actively working in the US on an active H-2B visa and looking to extend their visa for the upcoming season.
- At least 6 months of prior guest service experience in a high-volume environment at a restaurant, resort or private club.
- Must have an outgoing & well-spoken personality be able to clearly interact verbally with members and guests.
- Must be responsible, dependable, outgoing and friendly, as well as patient and courteous with members/guests and other co-workers.
- Experience with Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Email, and a willingness to learn new computer programs that the Club utilizes.
Additional Requirements
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Daily travel to worksite within the area of intended employment. The employer provides transportation to and from all workstations.
