About the Role
We are looking in our business unit Health and Medical for a passionate Global Marketing Manager (f/m/d) for our Compression Therapy category, to join a Fixed Term Position, based in Hamburg, Germany or any other Essity locations.
In this position you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive global growth for Phlebology. You are accountable for delivering strategic plan financial goals (Net Sales & Gross Profit Margin). Based on the strategy, you are responsible for delivering innovative solutions to better meet the needs of our target audience. This role requires a deep understanding of customer and patient/consumer needs, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Your Role
Develop and implement global marketing plans, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives. Propose plans for geographic expansion and market access strategy in collaboration with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory
Recommend and propose an innovation pipeline, including launch roadmap and plans
Oversee assortment and life cycle management, including supply security and cost optimization in collaboration with Product Supply Medical
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer and consumer insights, and competitive landscape in collaboration with process experts in Customer & Consumer Insight function. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development
Develop brand, manage claims, design packaging, and create value propositions in collaboration with the Brand & Comms Team to ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all markets
Work closely with local marketing teams, sales, R&D, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies
Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking of expenditures
Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and company policies

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with passion to work for a purpose-led brand, join a taboo-breaking team and participate in the transformation of Feminine Care
8-10 years of experience in global marketing with a focus on strategy and innovation besides experience working in brand / innovation management, in local and global roles with an understanding of a winning strategy and insights, brand architecture, consumer segmentation and market research
You are a results-oriented self-starter with a track record of making a measurable impact in a fast growth environment, successfully managing competing priorities
You are as much creative as data-driven with a consumer-first focus, can translate human insights to guide innovation and communications development, have experience in analytics-based decision making, whereas success is measured in business growth and lifetime value
Ability to influence and get buy-in of key stakeholders in a global matrix organization and effectively manage work across organizational boundaries to get things done in a collaborative way - high resilience and solution-oriented attitude
Fluent in English, other languages are a plus (e.g. German, Spanish, French)
30% of travel time expected
