Atria provides concierge primary healthcare with a distinct focus on maximizing both healthspan and lifespan. Customers (referred to as members) pay an all-inclusive annual fee that includes all care, diagnostics, and imaging provided at the Atria Institute, in-home, and via telemedicine. The role of Director of Home Services and Urgent Care oversees all clinical services rendered by Atria physicians, ACPs and RNs to Atria members. You will work closely with all specialties (Cardiology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology) to deliver care as requested by members and deemed necessary by their corresponding CMO(Chief Medical Officer). You will oversee operational readiness and maintenance of the service as well.
Job Duties
- Working in conjunction with the Director of Home Services and Urgent Care in NY you will develop a Home Services Program in Palm Beach to provide care to Atria members in their home or place of work.
- Develop a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with input from all specialties to determine scope of practice to be delivered in the home.
- Develop a team of on-call EM physicians to respond to house calls as needed
- Develop ancillary services (Home RN services) to augment the delivery of care provided to Atria members
- Develop a network of relationships with the EM leadership of area hospitals to allow for smooth transition of care when members require ER visits
- Be available to respond to request for house calls within a reasonable response time.
- Able to stabilize or attend to the patient’s basic needs and refer patients to a specialist, admit, or transfer the patient as necessary.
- Able to quickly assess a patient’s condition with very little information, make a preliminary diagnosis, and immediately begin treating a patient.
- Liaising with other medical and non-medical staff in the company to ensure quality treatment and working together as a team.
Requirements
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS certified, PALS certified
• Residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM.
• 5 years of emergency room experience preferred.
• Experience with point of care ultrasound and diagnostic testing preferred (e.g. biofire).
• Experience with Athena preferred, but not required.
• Prior concierge medicine experience preferred, but not required.
