Job Description

Have you always wanted to support on-set production? Our Backlot Operations team is the best in the business! Our Production Services Representatives are responsible for liaising with all the productions that film on our stages or lot and handle a wide variety of requests to make sure TV shows, films, and commercials have all the support they need to make great content at NBCUniversal. You will be assigned to productions to ensure efficiency, solve problems and assist with any specific needs for those productions filming on the studio property. You will work with multiple departments across all studio facilities.

What You’ll Do:

  •  Work with local leadership, Rental Agents, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work as the primary liaison between on-lot productions and the studio
  • Scout studio facility with customer for stage/backlot
  •  Generate on lot work orders for all studio departments
  • Ensure all studio facilities are ready for client arrival and maintained during production
  • Be a consistent presence on set throughout the production on both stages and backlot
  • Arrange for Universal personnel and maintain contact with them throughout the production
  • Prepare studio call sheets, hotlock lists, drive on passes and neighbor notifications as required
  • Arrange parking for crew and production vehicles
  • Ensure all studio safety, Los Angeles County, and Los Angeles County Fire Department regulations are observed by production (fire exits, fire lanes, hazardous waste disposal, special effects properly approved, etc.)
  • Work to develop and maintain internal and external production relationships
  • Review posted charges and initiate customer billing, in addition to helping identify and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Dedicated to achieving studio budget goals

What You Must Have:

  • BA/BS degree in a related area, or equivalent working experience
  • 2+ years of production or production related experience
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, as needed
