This position requires in person attendance at our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.</p> <p>ASI is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support daily financial operations across multiple companies. This role is responsible for cash management, accounts payable/receivable processes, fixed asset reporting, and monthly financial close activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing a wide range of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency.</p> <p>Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this individual will serve as a key contributor to the accounting team to maintain financial integrity, support close processes, and deliver timely, accurate reporting across multiple entities.</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. Individual pay within the range will be based on role related experience, education, skills, and qualifications.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor cash balances, initiate transfers, and perform bank reconciliations.</li> <li>Manage biweekly payroll, including reconciliations and 401(k) contributions.</li> <li>Support benefits administration, PTO tracking, and insurance payments.</li> <li>Maintain fixed assets, including additions and depreciation.</li> <li>Assist with AR/AP functions, including billing, invoicing, and vendor payments.</li> <li>Prepare account reconciliations, analyses, and support month-end close.</li> <li>Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.</li> <li>Maintain vendor records and support audit requests.</li> <li>Perform general bookkeeping and identify process improvements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.</li> <li>2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.</li> <li>Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals and account reconciliations.</li> <li>Experience with payroll processing and general ledger systems.</li> <li>Experience working with third-party payroll providers.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Effective communication and teamwork sk
