Requisition Summary
This role is responsible for leading the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and directing manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality goals are met. Scope of responsibility could include 4 direct reports and 75-100 non-exempt employees.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Directs Unit managers in the ReManufacturing processes Disassembly and cleaning, Salvaging, Engine Assembly to attain business objectives in the areas of safety, quality, cost, morale, and environment.
- Develop Lean Manufacturing implementation strategy and drive implementation into areas
- Develops and Present strategy and plans to drive business plan initiatives into areas
- Responsible for developing direct reports in accordance with production objectives to meet business goals and prepare them for their next role
- Determine staffing within assigned department which promotes schedule stability for maximum return on efficiencies
- Plans, organizes, implements, and monitors procedures to meet production equipment, operating efficiency, working conditions, and costs
- Prepares or directs preparation of reports for management and coordinates activities with other area manages to achieve interrelated goals
- Establishes and monitors departmental budgets
- Champion process improvement efforts including Maintenance Reliability.
Qualifications & Skills required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
- Five(5) years of supervisory and/or Project management experience in Heavy Duty Engine Manufacturing environ
