Job Overview
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Clincial Coordinator in our Operating Room.
Responsibilities
- The Nurse Clinical Coordinator provides leadership, direction and clinical support to nursing staff to promote quality patient care and a safe work environment.
- The successful leader will monitor staff performance, attendance/tardiness, and professional work environment with a team approach.
- In this position, you'll be responsible for supervising orientation of new staff, educating staff on policies and procedures and always look for performance improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN)
- 3 years’ experience as an Operating Room Nurse
- Active RN license in State of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred:
- 1 years’ experience in a supervisory position preferred
